Austin, TX. Probably thinking about content.
Getting the shot. Whatever it takes.
Minou. Unbothered.

I got into journalism because I love a good story. After nearly a decade reporting and anchoring news across Mississippi and Louisiana, I covered everything — politics, crime, weather, you name it — and learned how to find the angle fast and write clearly under pressure. My favorite work was a segment called On the Job, where I'd spend a day doing someone else's job: beekeeper, surgeon, pizza maker, florist. Whatever made the story interesting.
Those same instincts turned out to be exactly what content strategy requires. Over the past few years, I've made the shift from broadcast to brand storytelling: building content programs, writing case studies, managing newsletters, and helping companies figure out what they want to say and how to say it well.
In an era when AI can produce content at scale, I've realized my superpower is judgment. Knowing what's good. Editing a blog post, a video script, or a newsletter until it's right is something you can only get from reps. I have a lot of them.
Mississippi-born, Austin-based. Outside of work I have an Etsy shop for my stickers, and I share my home with Minou (pictured). I love a good ren faire, paddleboarding on the river, tie-dyeing things that probably didn't need to be tie-dyed, and convincing myself I can handle whatever overly complicated home project I found online.
